A house was engulfed in flames this Saturday morning in the village of Starovë, in Pogradec, causing significant material damage.
According to preliminary information, the fire is suspected to have started from a wooden shed attached to the house and then spread rapidly to the main building. Early suspicions suggest an electrical short circuit as the possible cause of the fire.
Fortunately, at the time the fire broke out, the residents were not in the house specifically a mother and her three daughters preventing any human casualties.
The flames also threatened a neighboring house, but thanks to the quick intervention of the fire services, the situation was brought under control in time.
Firefighters and police are present at the scene and are working to fully clarify the circumstances and causes of the fire.
