Arrestohet inspektori i policisë në Korçë

Agjencia e Mbikëqyrjes Policore (Rajoni Elbasan – Korçë) ka ndaluar me iniciativë punonjësin e policisë, Inspektor J. R., i cili mban detyrën e Oficerit të Patrullës së Përgjithshme në Komisariatin e Policisë Korçë. Ai dyshohet për veprat penale “Mosdhënia ndihmë”, “Largimi nga vendi i aksidentit” dhe “Shkelja e rregullave të qarkullimit rrugor”.

Ndalimi i Inspektorit R. u bë pas një incidenti të ndodhur më 03/03/2025, kur ai, duke drejtuar mjetin e tij në aksin Hoçisht – Bilisht, është përfshirë në një aksident rrugor që ka shkaktuar plagosjen e shtetasit D. GJ. Ai është larguar menjëherë nga vendi i ngjarjes pa i dhënë ndihmën e nevojshme të aksidentuarit dhe pa njoftuar organet e rendit për ngjarjen.

Si pasojë e aksidentit, shtetasi D. GJ. ka marrë plagë dhe është dërguar për mjekim të specializuar në Spitalin e Traumës në Tiranë.

Agjencia e Mbikëqyrjes Policore ka filluar hetimet për këtë ngjarje dhe ka ndërmarrë masat për ndalimin e punonjësit të policisë, duke u angazhuar për ndriçimin e plotë të rrethanave të këtij aksidenti dhe për siguruar përgjegjësinë e atij që ka shkelur detyrat dhe ligjin.

The Police Oversight Agency (Elbasan – Korçë Region) has detained, on its own initiative, police officer Inspector J. R., who serves as a General Patrol Officer at the Korçë Police Commissariat. He is suspected of committing the criminal offenses of “Failure to Provide Assistance,” “Leaving the Scene of an Accident,” and “Violation of Traffic Rules.”

Inspector R. was detained following an incident that occurred on 03/03/2025, when, while driving his vehicle on the Hoçisht – Bilisht road, he was involved in a traffic accident that resulted in injuries to citizen D. GJ. He immediately left the scene without providing the necessary assistance to the injured person and without notifying law enforcement authorities about the incident.

As a result of the accident, citizen D. GJ. sustained injuries and was transported for specialized medical treatment to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana.

The Police Oversight Agency has launched an investigation into this incident and has taken measures to detain the police officer, committing to fully clarifying the circumstances of this accident and ensuring accountability for the violation of duty and the law.
