BREAKING NEWS / Criminal proceedings opened against 5 citizens by Korçë police. Here is the statement from the officers!

Illegal crossing into Greece and unlawful logging: 5 citizens face criminal proceedings for various offenses.

Crime Investigation specialists from Korçë referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings for the offense of “Illegal crossing of the state border” for the following individuals:

D. P., 35, resident of Rubik, Mirditë

E. Ç., 35, resident of Peshkopi

E. P., 28, resident of Bilisht

M. L., 28, resident of Starje, Kolonjë

These individuals are suspected of having crossed illegally into Greece.

Additionally, the specialists referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office to initiate criminal proceedings for the offense of “Illegal logging” against D. B., 53, resident of Kuç, Devoll. This individual was found on the “Vidohovë-Miras” road near the area known as “Gryka e Poçrovës” transporting firewood with a small truck without proper documentation. The wood and vehicle were seized as material evidence.
