Skënderbeu’s coach, Ernest Gjoka, stated in an interview with RTSH that he is more focused on the league than the Cup. He would prefer to defeat Dinamo in the Superiore league, as the points are crucial for survival, making it a priority.

The coach praised Bismark, Rashica (who will be leaving), and the Brazilian Luquinhas.

“As I said earlier, the three points in the league interest me much more. Rashica left in the final moments. These matches are important, and we need to find our rhythm and keep going in the league because we’re not where we need to be.

Dinamo is a tough opponent. They dominate possession and don’t let you circulate the ball. The league match was more or less the same. We lacked the attacking edge, Bismark. We left Rashica in that position, but you can’t get the best out of him there. Today, Bismark played, and Rashica was placed in his natural role.

Look, Rashica is a very strong asset. It’s a fact that he will leave, but we want to make the most of him while we have him. The player who might replace him might not give 100% because Rashica is a key cog.
