State Police
Immediately after receiving notification from the General Directorate of Prisons that in the early hours of this morning, during the shift change and roll call at the Special Medical Institution in Lezhë, the absence of the patient, citizen Daut Laze, 49 years old, was noticed, the services of the State Police have organized operations and are conducting intensive searches to locate him.
We clarify that citizen Daut Laze was arrested in 2021 for the criminal offense of “Domestic Violence,” and in 2024, the Tirana Court assigned him the measure of “Compulsory Treatment in a Medical Institution.”
The 49-year-old presents a social danger, which is why we seek the help of citizens to immediately notify the State Police of any information regarding his whereabouts.
In cooperation with the General Directorate of Prisons, efforts continue for the localization and capture of the 49-year-old.
The State Police has set a reward of 10,000 euros for any valuable information regarding the location of this individual. Citizens can report to the State Police toll-free number 112 and to the number 068 200 29 61, established by the General Directorate of Prisons.
