Dhimitër Boria (George Boria) was an Albanian artist, photographer, and musician with a rich and eventful life filled with experiences from around the world. He left Albania in 1921 and led a dynamic life in the United States, working as a photographer and documenting significant historical moments.

Boria was a witness to various eras, photographing World War II, collaborating with the United Nations in the 1940s, and establishing connections with notable figures such as the Japanese Emperor and General Douglas MacArthur.

His final wish was for his collection to return to Korça and become part of Albania’s cultural heritage. Today, the “Bratko” Museum stands as a monument to his love for art and his roots, inviting visitors to explore the magical world of Oriental arts, narrated through the eyes of a visionary Albanian.
