Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says that it is very important to maintain friendship with Donald Trump. When asked after his meeting with Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico in Ankara, the president stated that Trump’s second term as president will be good for all of humanity.

He even highlighted the new U.S. president’s statement that he would end the war in Ukraine, saying that Turkey will do everything necessary in this regard.

“With this peace, we believe that the solidarity between countries should continue. We cannot go anywhere with war, and we must face it as soon as possible. These issues will be discussed in our contacts with Mr. Trump, and we will take our measures according to the circumstances,” said Erdogan.
