Fight with punches and kicks in Kolonjë / 31-year-old arrested after seriously injuring a person

A 31-year-old man has been arrested by police in Kolonjë after allegedly seriously injuring a citizen following a conflict over minor motives.

According to investigations, the incident occurred two days ago in the village of Starje, where the suspect reportedly struck the victim with punches and kicks to the body and head, causing serious injuries.

Initially, he claimed that he had found the injured person lying on the ground, but police verification showed that he was in fact the perpetrator of the assault.

The injured man was transported to the University Trauma Hospital in Tirana for specialized treatment due to his serious condition.

Police have clarified the circumstances of the incident and arrested the 31-year-old, while investigations are ongoing to fully document the case.
