FIRST DIVISION / Matchday 5 is played over two days. All eyes on Korçë where Skënderbeu hosts Laçi

While Matchday 4 wrapped up yesterday, the following round comes quickly and, once again, will be played over two days. Two matches will take place on Friday, September 26, and the other four on Saturday, September 27 the official agenda of the First Division for Matchday 5.

All the attention in this fifth round will be on Korçë, as on Friday, September 26, we’ll have the clash at the top of the First Division table. Skënderbeu–Laçi is the big duel, with Skënderbeu currently sitting in first place with 10 points and Laçi close behind in second with 9 points. This match will be played on Friday at 19:00, under the floodlights.

Skënderbeu will aim to confirm its unbeaten status, seeking to stop Laçi and remain comfortably at the top of the First Division.

This fifth round will open on Friday, September 26, at 16:00, with Besa hosting Lushnja.

After the opening day, Saturday, September 27, will see four matches played simultaneously at 16:00. Pogradeci, still struggling to find form, will travel this time to Kukës for a tough encounter, while in Gjirokastër, the home side Luftëtari will host Iliria. Kastrioti–Burreli and Korabi–Apolonia will close out the fifth round.
