German Chancellor against Elon Musk, Scholz: He is a threat to European democracy!

Elon Musk’s friendship with the far-right puts European democracy at risk, declares Olaf Scholz.

“He supports the far-right everywhere in Europe, in the UK, Germany, and in many other countries. This is unacceptable. It threatens the democratic development of Europe! It threatens our community and must be condemned,” emphasized the German Chancellor at a press conference in Berlin.

Musk has openly supported far-right figures around the world, including backing the Alternative for Germany (AfD) in the upcoming federal snap elections, which will be held on February 23.

The social media mogul is also one of the most ardent supporters of Donald Trump and has gained a place in the inner circle of the elected U.S. president.

According to Scholz, his connection to the far-right, whether for business interests or due to his political stance, is unacceptable.
