Skënderbeu continues to make moves in the summer transfer market and strengthen the squad for the new season in the Abissnet Superiore. The Korçë club has officially announced the signing of striker Amadou Diallo, who arrives after his experience with Portuguese side Oliveirense.
The 23-year-old footballer has signed a three-year contract with the red-and-whites, valid until the summer of 2029. With this transfer, Diallo begins a new chapter in Albanian football, while Skënderbeu secures another attacking option.
The striker’s career is quite interesting, as he was developed in England. Diallo is a product of the West Ham United academy, one of the most renowned football clubs in England, where he took his first steps in the sport.
He was later also part of Newcastle United’s U21 team, continuing his development in another important environment of English football. In addition to his experience in England, Diallo has played in France with Bordeaux, while his latest adventure was in Portugal with Oliveirense.
At the age of 23, the striker arrives in Korçë with the aim of proving his qualities and helping Skënderbeu achieve its objectives for the new season. The Korçë club believes that the experience gained in different European academies and leagues will help Diallo adapt quickly to Albanian football.
His arrival is part of the active transfer campaign Skënderbeu is carrying out this summer. The club’s management and technical staff are working to build a competitive squad, while coach Julian Ahmataj is expected to have a complete group available for the start of the championship.
With the signing of Amadou Diallo, Skënderbeu adds another attacking option and hopes that the young player will become one of the key figures of the upcoming season in the red-and-white shirt.
