As part of the efforts for the internationalization of the academic staff and involvement in international research projects, Dr. Dorela Kaçauni, lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages at “Fan S. Noli” University, carried out a Short-Term Scientific Mission (STSM) at Inland University, Hamar in Norway, from June 23 to June 27, 2025.

The research was conducted within the framework of the COST Action CA22145 – GameTable project and focused on the topic: “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Fostering Student Collaboration in Game-Based Learning Environments.”

Dr. Kaçauni worked under the supervision of Artificial Intelligence professor, Assoc. Prof. Meisam Taheri, gaining both practical and theoretical knowledge on the interaction between AI and the learning process, as well as on the development of research instruments for measuring student engagement.

This experience is expected to contribute to the professional development of the university’s academic staff, enriching the teaching process in the Master of Science program in “English Language Teaching.”

Moreover, participation in this type of research equips the staff with advanced skills for applying interdisciplinary methods in international contexts, thereby enhancing the quality of education and research at our university.
