Involved in the tragic accident in Librazhd, the photo of the 20-year-old who lost her life is published

The couple in the photo are the two young people involved in the tragic accident in the early hours of the morning in Pishkash, where 20-year-old Megi Xhetani lost her life, and 34-year-old Zef Sinani was seriously injured.

The 20-year-old lost her life due to the injuries sustained after the vehicle she was traveling in with her fiancé, Zef Sinani, collided with a truck with Skopje license plates while they were returning home after celebrating Valentine’s Day in Pogradec.

The couple lived in the city of Mamurras, and the 20-year-old was an only daughter studying at the University of Tirana.

The 33-year-old Zef Sinani was seriously injured in the accident and suffered multiple injuries. He was first taken to the Librazhd hospital and then transferred to the Regional Hospital of Elbasan. However, due to his condition, he was transported to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana.

According to the police, the preliminary investigation suggests that the cause of the accident was the loss of control of the Benz driven by Zef Sinani.

“Z. S., 33 years old, was arrested because last night, on the ‘Prrenjas-Librazhd’ road segment, he allegedly lost control of the vehicle he was driving, which then collided with a truck driven by 35-year-old B. A. As a result of the accident, the driver, Z. S., was injured and is under medical care, while the passenger traveling with him lost her life,” the police reported.
