Korçë region ready for the summer tourist season 2025

Today in Korçë, we held the meeting of the Regional Tourism Development Committee as part of the preparations for the summer tourist season 2025.

Our region holds an important place on the map of Albania’s tourist destinations. Korçë is now a city visited year-round; Pogradec is known for sustainable tourism in every season; meanwhile, tourist interest is also significantly growing for nature and mountain climate areas such as Kolonja, Devoll, Maliq, and Pustec.

Last year proved very positive for the tourism sector, both nationally and in our region. INSTAT data show that in the first four months of 2025, there was an average increase of 5% in foreign visitors compared to the same period in 2024.

In my speech, I emphasized the importance of implementing the tasks defined in the Prime Minister’s Order for the establishment of the Inter-institutional Task Force for the Summer Tourist Season 2025.

The season has just started, and it is our duty to ensure that the Korçë region is welcoming, organized, and offers the highest quality experience for both domestic and foreign visitors.
