An unusual incident occurred in Italy when a 13-year-old, after being escorted to school by his parents, decided not to attend class and instead carry out a robbery at a post office.

According to reports, the post office branch had just opened when the minor entered and threatened an employee with a toy gun, demanding money from the cash register. He managed to take around 500 euros and then left on foot.

However, his escape was short-lived. The employees immediately alerted the police, who, thanks to the testimony of a woman who saw him leaving, managed to track and stop him within about 15 minutes. The stolen money was still found in his backpack, while the toy gun had been discarded along the way.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the robbery may have been premeditated, as the minor had brought the toy gun with him in the morning. He offered no explanation for his actions.
