The Central Election Commission has officially confirmed the distribution of parliamentary seats in the Korçë district, confirming the final election results in this area. According to official data, the Socialist Party (PS) has secured 6 seats, while the Democratic Party (PD) has won 4 seats.

This division reflects the current political configuration in one of Albania’s most important districts in terms of electoral weight and voting history. In total, Korçë will be represented by ten deputies in the new legislature of the Albanian Parliament.

Compared to previous elections, the result does not bring significant changes in the seat ratio between the two main forces. The Socialist Party has maintained the same number of seats as in the last elections, demonstrating the stability of its electoral base in this district. On the other hand, the Democratic Party also retains four seats, despite internal dynamics and divisions that have affected the electorate at the national level.

This result is considered a confirmation of the political polarization in the district, where the two main parties continue to dominate the vote distribution, while third parties or alternative candidates have not managed to break the traditional balance of the electorate.

Korçë district, with its special importance for the economy, education, and cultural heritage, is expected to have balanced representation in Parliament, which may also be reflected in parliamentary debates on regional issues and local development.

According to analysts, this seat distribution gives the Socialist Party a slight advantage to lead the political agenda in the area, while the Democratic Party retains space to exercise opposition control and pressure on key issues affecting the interests of the Korçë community.

The final list of winning deputies for each political force is expected to be published in the coming days, which will provide a clearer picture of the parliamentary delegation composition from Korçë district.
