SAD NEWS / Farewell to the pediatrician from Korçë, Kostanca Lako (Bojdani)!

A sad piece of news was reported today from the United States, where Kosanca Lako (Bojdani) has passed away.
The respected pediatrician from the city of Korçë passed away after an illness, closing her eyes forever and leaving behind her family, friends, and relatives. It is a truly sad moment for the community of the southeastern city, as Kostanca Lako is remembered for her years of work as a pediatrician at the hospital in Korçë.
She is remembered in the pediatrics department for her dedication and the great love she showed toward the children she treated during her medical career in the city.
Later, like many others, Kostanca Lako emigrated with her family to the United States. Today, on June 24, 2026, at the age of 76, she passed away.
