Skënderbeu and Laçi march toward the Superiore, surprise from Burreli in Fier

Today, six matches were played for the seventh week of the First Division, with results showing clearly that the race for promotion to the Superiore is becoming increasingly competitive.


Laçi and Skënderbeu secured important away victories, confirming their ambitions to return to the top tier of Albanian football. Laçi defeated Kukësi convincingly 0-3, with goals from Myrta (63’), Tresa (70’), and Nërguti (72’). Meanwhile, Skënderbeu earned three valuable points thanks to a late goal by Tayo in the 84th minute against Luftëtari.


In the standout match of the week, Besa and Pogradeci drew 1-1. Greca gave Pogradeci the lead in the 16th minute, while Beqja equalized early in the second half. The match was marked by high intensity and a disallowed goal for Besa.


Kastrioti and Iliria shared points after another 1-1 draw. Hoxha opened the scoring for Krutanët in the 15th minute, but Pjetraj restored balance in the 77th minute.


Korabi defeated Lushnja 2-0, thanks to goals from Uollis and Reçi, continuing their positive form.


Meanwhile, the surprise of the week came from Burreli, who won 2-1 away against Apolonia. Rrapi was the protagonist with two goals (39’ and 72’), while Umejiego scored for the hosts.
