Two talents from Mitrovica, thanks to the work of coach Murat Shabani, are now shining in the UEFA Youth League
Two young footballers from Mitrovica, Ensar Beqiri and Elvidon Islami, are showcasing their great potential on the European stage with the KF Skënderbeu U19 jersey from Albania.
In their big debut in the UEFA Youth League against Inter Escaldes U19, they made a difference on the field: Ensar Beqiri scored 2 goals and registered 1 assist, while Elvidon Islami contributed with 2 assists, reports “Jepi zë.”
Before this international success, both players were part of KF Trepça ’89 U19, where under the guidance of Mitrovica coach Murat Shabani, they were crowned runners-up in the Kosovo U19 Superleague.
It was precisely coach Shabani who trained and prepared them technically, tactically, and physically, enabling their big step to the Albanian club KF Skënderbeu and opening the doors to European competitions.
