For the past 10 days, southeastern Albania has been paralyzed following a road collapse in Arrë e Gurrës, forcing drivers to take alternative routes, which themselves have their own problems.

Journalist Artan Hoxha did not hold back his remarks about the situation, noting that the current blockage is not the result of Ottoman or German occupation, which occurred in Albania over the centuries.

Referring to Prime Minister Edi Rama’s recent visit to Korça, which due to the blockade had to be made by helicopter, Hoxha said the head of government resembled a tallava singer trying to shoot a music video.

“In Albania today, there is only one organization that is the strongest, and at its head is Rama. The ground isn’t slipping under our feet, Albania itself is sliding.

What happened to us, neither the Ottomans, nor the Germans, nor the Italians blocked. Even in the partisan films from Kinostudio, the power lines were expected, roads and bridges were not blown up. To reach southeastern Albania today, you would have to go through Kosovo or North Macedonia, while Rama himself shamelessly flies in by helicopter as if making a music video, like the tallava singers,” Hoxha said on the show “Kjo Javë” on News24.
