The Executive Committee of the AFF in its monthly meeting – Here are the decisions!

The Executive Committee of the Albanian Football Association (FSHF), in its monthly meeting, made several decisions aimed at the development and proper management of football in the country. These decisions include the organization of championships, with special attention to women’s football, as well as the continuation of infrastructure investments.

One of the most important decisions approved is the continuation of the “Your Ball” project for the eighth consecutive year. This initiative significantly facilitates clubs and academies by providing the necessary material base for the training and development of young footballers.

In line with technological advancements, the use of GPS devices for player performance monitoring and analysis is being expanded. This technology will be implemented across all national teams.

Regarding medical infrastructure, today’s decisions ensured the completion of equipping the physiotherapy department with the most advanced technologies. This investment will serve as a modern clinic for all footballers wearing the red and black jersey, as well as for other athletes in need of professional rehabilitation services.

In terms of strategic investments, the Executive Committee discussed the companies that will design the construction of the “Besa” Stadium in Kavaja, an important initiative in collaboration with the Municipality. Additionally, a plan was approved to support clubs in maintaining stadiums and training fields, ensuring optimal conditions for football development. These investments are particularly crucial in preparation for the U-17 Euro, the first tournament of its kind hosted in our country.

Another ambitious project, discussed for the first time today, is the construction of the National Team’s new hotel. This facility, planned to be built within the premises of the House of Football, will provide a great advantage for national team gatherings, ensuring optimal conditions for preparation and accommodation.

I thank the members of the Executive Committee for their contribution to this meeting. In addition to approving these ambitious projects, we must all commit to their implementation with accuracy and efficiency in service of the development of Albanian football.
