The Ordinary General Assembly of the Regional Football Association of Korçë (SHRF Korçë) takes place – these are the decisions made by the members

This Monday, the Ordinary General Assembly of the Regional Football Association of Korçë was held, where important decisions were made regarding the football activities organized by this association.

Present at the meeting were all eight members of the association, represented by 13 delegates, who discussed the agenda items, including the activity report of the Association, the approval of financial statements, the approval of the budget for 2025, the election of delegates who will represent the Regional Football Association of Korçë (SHRFK) at the General Assembly of the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF), as well as the change of the SHRFK emblem.

The General Assembly of the Regional Football Association of Korçë was also attended by Ylli Çekiçi, a member of the Executive Committee of FSHF, who praised the work done by SHRFK and emphasized that FSHF will continue to be the main supporter with concrete projects to further develop football in this region.

“Our priority remains investing in youth, developing grassroots football, and strengthening women’s football through projects such as ‘UEFA Playmakers’ and the ‘100 Fields’ initiative for improving sports infrastructure. Our long-term objectives include creating a regional center for this area, utilizing every challenge as an opportunity to open new development pathways. This requires close cooperation with local authorities to secure projects and concrete support for the football community. Municipalities can provide opportunities for investment in sports, and it is important that we work together to maximize the benefits for football in this region,” said Ylli Çekiçi in his speech.

After verifying the mandates, the President of SHRFK, Ilirjan Përmeti, delivered a welcome speech, highlighting SHRFK’s achievements during 2024 and addressing the challenges that need to be resolved. The goals of SHRFK for the future include increasing the number of children involved in football and improving sports infrastructure.

Subsequently, through a vote in the Assembly, the financial statements and budget for 2025 were approved, along with the delegates who will represent the Regional Football Association of Korçë at the Ordinary General Assembly of FSHF. The delegates elected with the members’ votes are Ilirjan Përmeti and Stavrion Lako.

The association also proposed changing its emblem. The new emblem will be used not only in SHRF Korçë activities and sports materials within the region but also in official documents, institutional communications, official social media pages, and events organized by the association.
