The police provide details about the murder in Shkodër: The 34-year-old shot her in the head, the girl is in critical condition

The police have issued an official statement regarding the serious incident in Shkodër, where a young man shot his girlfriend and then took his own life.

The victim is K. M., 34 years old, who initially injured his girlfriend, A. P., with a gunshot to the head. She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

Afterwards, the 34-year-old man took his own life. The incident occurred inside the vehicle where the couple was located.

“At around 11:15 AM, in the ‘Mark Lula’ neighborhood, the bodies of K. M., 34, and A. P. were found in a vehicle, both with gunshot wounds.

K. M. lost his life, while A. P. was taken to the hospital in very critical condition.

Police services immediately arrived at the scene and are carrying out investigative actions regarding the case.

Initial findings show that the vehicle does not have external damage caused by gunfire. A handgun was found inside the vehicle.

The investigation team, under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, continues to work to clarify the circumstances of the incident,” the police report states.
