Three criminal proceedings in Korçë – physical violence, vigilantism, and theft within the family

The Prosecutor’s Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Korçë has registered three criminal proceedings against three individuals involved in separate criminal incidents.

Citizen V. B., 45 years old, resident of Korçë, is facing criminal charges for allegedly punching and kicking a 65-year-old man. According to preliminary information, the incident occurred over trivial motives, causing physical injuries to the elderly victim.

Meanwhile, V. V., 69 years old, also a resident of Korçë, is under investigation for the criminal offense of vigilantism. He is suspected of unilaterally changing the lock on the door of E. B.'s residence, claiming that the property rightfully belongs to him. The case has been referred to the Prosecutor’s Office for a full legal review regarding the ownership dispute.

The third case involves O. L., 41 years old, who is under investigation for allegedly stealing a sum of money from his wife’s grandmother. The theft is believed to have taken place within the family home, and it was the victim herself who reported the incident.

All three cases are under investigation, and the Prosecutor’s Office, in cooperation with the State Police, is continuing procedures to fully document the circumstances and legal responsibilities of each suspect.
