TODAY the First Division takes the field / 5 matches today, tomorrow the title final in Korçë

Today and tomorrow the final round of the “First Division” championship will be played, concluding a season full of rivalry, emotions, and a high level of competition.

Five matches will be played today at 15:00, while tomorrow (Monday) at 17:00 the final match will take place between Skënderbeu and Laçi, where the champion’s trophy will also be awarded.

Both teams have already secured promotion to the “Abissnet Superiore” for next season, and their direct clash will determine the First Division champion.

Meanwhile, the relegation battle remains completely open and is expected to deliver excitement until the final minutes today. Two particularly important matches will be played in Kukës and Fier. Kukësi will face Besa, while Apolonia will host Burreli, in matches where the result is vital for the teams’ objectives.

Apolonia is ranked second to last and is aiming for maximum points, also hoping for a slip-up from Kukësi to keep their survival chances alive. On the other hand, Kukësi has no room for mistakes, as any negative result could directly affect the team’s fate.

This week will also determine the second team to play in the play-out, apart from Luftëtari. The Gjirokastër side will face Pogradeci in another high-stakes match.

In other fixtures, Korabi will play against Iliria, while Lushnja, which sits at the bottom of the table, will face Kastrioti.

Ahead of this decisive week, everything remains open, guaranteeing a highly intense finish to the season in the First Division.
