Unbelievable in Korçë! Leaves house arrest to burglarize a home

A 49-year-old man has been arrested by Korçë Police after he allegedly attempted to steal from a home while he was under a “house arrest” security measure.

According to the police, officers from the Korçë Police Station immediately responded after a citizen reported an attempted burglary at his home in the village of Goskovë.

Thanks to swift investigative actions and checks carried out, officers managed to identify the suspected perpetrator and arrest him.

During the verification process, it was found that the 49-year-old was already under the “house arrest” measure, previously imposed by the justice authorities.

The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor’s Office for further action, while investigations continue to fully document the case and clarify all circumstances surrounding the incident.
