WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL / Skënderbeu challenges Partizani on Tuesday in the first semi-final!

The decisive moment of the Albanian Cup in women’s volleyball has arrived, as we have reached the semi-final stage. On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, the two semi-final matches of the Albanian Cup will take place. The semi-final matchups are Teuta vs. Tirana and Partizani vs. Skënderbeu, with the winners advancing to the final of this edition.

Skënderbeu, as the top team of Group A, faces Partizani, which finished second in Group B. The first leg of this encounter will be played in the capital.

Specifically, on Tuesday, February 18, at 18:00, the first leg will take place at the “Asllan Rusi” Sports Palace, while the return match is scheduled for a week later, on February 25, at the “Tamara Nikolla” Sports Palace. These semi-finals are played over two matches, and in case of a tie, a Golden Set—a single set that determines the winner—will be played in the return match in the southeastern city.

This rule serves as an advantage for Skënderbeu, given their top ranking in Group A. Meanwhile, Orlando Koja’s Skënderbeu squad is confident that they can secure victory in the first match in the capital.

Their objective remains winning all available trophies this season, and lifting the Cup is a key goal that Skënderbeu is determined to achieve.
