WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL/ Pogradeci and Skënderbeu play on Saturday. Here’s Week 7

Week 7 of the national women’s volleyball championship returns this weekend, with matches scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday.

Two matches per day have been officially confirmed by the Albanian Volleyball Federation. On the first day, Teuta will host Vllaznia, while Tirana faces Dinamo — the latter matchup appears to be the highlight of the week.

Then, on Saturday, October 25, it’s the turn of the southeastern teams. At 11:00 AM, Skënderbeu will host Korabi, which on paper looks like the easier matchup, as the visiting team is at the bottom of the standings without any points, making victory likely for Skënderbeu.

At 6:00 PM on Saturday, Pogradeci returns to play at home against Partizani, a team fighting for a top-four spot. However, facing the league leaders, they will have a tough challenge. The Liqenoret are expected to continue their winning streak this week to maintain their top position.
