150 artists from Albania, Kosovo, Italy, and Croatia will be in Korçë on October 24, 25, and 26 for the first edition of “Lulu Fest”!

This inaugural edition is a festival conceived with love and special respect for Korçë’s traditions, while also having a clear vision for the city’s cultural future.

“Lulu Fest” is named in honor of Lulushi, the great artist from Korçë, one of the most outstanding talents in Albanian wind music, whose art and passion have surpassed the borders of both the city and the country. The festival is also inspired by the historic band “Vatra,” a symbol of Korçë’s musical culture over a century ago, a legacy that the festival seeks to revive with the younger generations.

During the three days of the festival, there will be masterclasses with instrumentalists and conductors from Albania and abroad, workshops with students from the music school, as well as numerous performances in the city streets and the central square.

The highlight will be the grand concert at the end of the festival, when all the artists, both local and international, will perform together the piece “Dua më shumë Shqipërinë” (“I Love Albania More”), a message of love, unity, and pride for our country.
