It has been 26 years since the passing of Eva Duni, the former Korçë volleyball player, national team member, and one of the most prominent figures in the sport, yet her memory continues to live on in the sporting history of Korçë and Albanian volleyball.


Eva Duni was part of the golden generation of volleyball, representing not only her city’s team with dignity but also the Albanian national team, standing out for her professionalism, composure on the court, and ability to make a difference in decisive moments.


In the national championship, she played a leading role in many important matches. Korçë fans still remember the intense match against Dinamo.


Another unforgettable game was against Vllaznia, a classic duel in Albanian volleyball, where Eva Duni led her team with calmness and authority, demonstrating the experience and maturity of a national-level player.


Even wearing the red-and-black jersey, she left her mark through dignified performances and maximum dedication, being one of the names that contributed to raising the standard of Albanian volleyball on the international stage of her time.


Beyond results and statistics, Eva Duni was a model of fairness and discipline. She was tireless in training, while on the court she inspired confidence and trust in her teammates, becoming a key reference point for the team.
