The Fourth of July celebrations in Washington were marked by a spectacular fireworks show, lasting around 40 minutes and taking place despite unfavorable weather conditions.
Organizers used around 850,000 fireworks, launched from ten different locations across the U.S. capital, including the area along the Potomac River and near the Lincoln Memorial.
The display lit up the Washington sky, attracting thousands of spectators.
According to organizers, the cost of the event was estimated at around $850,000, while the show is expected to be considered for a new Guinness World Record.
