AFF IN STATEMENT / Violence in Fushë Krujë: First Division match Iliria-Skënderbeu will not take place

The Football Federation announces that the 14th-week match, Iliria–Skënderbeu, scheduled to be played today at 13:30 at the “Redi Maloku” Stadium in Fushë-Krujë, did not take place due to reported safety concerns.

According to preliminary information, upon the arrival of Skënderbeu’s team at the stadium, an incident occurred involving players and staff of the Iliria club, with reports suggesting that physical confrontations may have taken place.

Due to these circumstances and the safety issues raised, it was decided that the match would not be played. The matter will be reviewed by AFF’s legal commissions, which will make the final decision regarding this match.
