Albanian woman who won “Miss America” honors her heritage by performing “Trim mbi trima Gjergj Kastrioti” on stage

Samantha Shkreli Sarelli is the Albanian from Kosovo who was crowned “Miss America,” winning the prestigious title of “The Miss Globe USA 2025.”

On the Miss Globe stage during the talent show, Samantha performed the song “Trim mbi trima Gjergj Kastrioti” in honor of her parents, who are of Albanian origin and have preserved Albanian traditions, showing that she has not forgotten her roots.

“I want to sing a song in honor of my parents who are Albanian and in honor of the Albanian diaspora, who have preserved our traditions through our culture, through our music, and we have not forgotten where we come from,” said Samantha.
