Bad weather closes all schools today!

All public and private schools, as well as high schools, across the entire Athens region will remain closed today, January 21, as a precautionary measure due to the severe weather conditions forecast for Wednesday and Thursday.

Classes will be conducted online.

The decision was taken by Regional Governor Nikos Hardalias, following recommendations from members of the Risk Assessment Committee, Civil Protection, and the Hellenic National Meteorological Service (HNMS).

This decision aims to protect students and educational staff from potential risks during travel to and from school, as heavy rainfall is expected after midday.
