The Disciplinary Commission of the Albanian Football Federation has published its decisions following the incidents and violence recorded at the “Elbasan Arena”.
Both KF Elbasani and KF Tirana have been sanctioned with fines and two matches without fans in their respective stadiums.
AF Elbasani was fined 500,000 lek for failing to ensure order and safety during the match, allowing unauthorized persons onto the field, and for throwing objects and endangering the safety of players and match officials. The club will also play two matches behind closed doors, a measure that will take effect in the 2026–2027 season.
Meanwhile, KF Tirana has been fined 300,000 lek for fans entering the pitch, throwing objects, and behavior that endangered safety in the stadium. The “Bardheblutë” (the blue and whites) will also play two matches without spectators.
Further disciplinary decisions were made for other clubs and officials. KF Sopoti was fined 300,000 lek for fans throwing objects and offensive chants, while Bylis official Arbër Sino was suspended for four matches for unsporting behavior toward referees.
The commission also announced the opening of a disciplinary investigation into the incidents in the match Partizani U-18 – Tirana U-18, while rejecting as unfounded Kukësi’s complaint regarding improper player registration by the opponent.
