A serious incident is reported to have occurred in the capital on Thursday morning.
A currency exchange shop in the “5 Maji” neighborhood, inside the Concord Centre in Tirana, was robbed at gunpoint.
The suspect is believed to be around 40 years old. He entered the exchange wearing a black vest and a blue hooded jacket.
He entered the premises of the exchange and stole an amount of money before fleeing in an unknown direction.
The robber ran away and removed his hood on the stairs outside the shopping center.
Police arrived at the scene and have launched an investigation to identify and capture the perpetrator, while security cameras in the area are also being checked.
