Korça midfielder Dean Liço will continue his career in Turkish football, beginning a new chapter with Bandırmaspor, a club competing in the TFF First League, the second tier of Turkish football. The 26-year-old signed with the club at the beginning of July and has agreed to a contract that runs until the summer of 2028.
After an impressive season with Boluspor, where he established himself as one of the team's most influential midfielders, Liço has chosen to remain in Turkey by joining another ambitious club. Bandırmaspor believes the Albanian midfielder will bring quality, experience, and stability to the heart of the team.
A product of Skënderbeu's academy, Dean Liço went on to build an international career, spending time in the youth systems of Leganés, Sporting, and Lazio. At senior level, he has represented Ascoli, Partizani, Skënderbeu, Iğdır FK, and Boluspor. His return to Skënderbeu in 2022 marked one of the most successful spells of his career, playing a key role in the club's promotion back to the Albanian top flight.
With experience gained in Albania, Italy, and Turkey, Liço is aiming to establish himself as one of the finest Albanian midfielders playing abroad. His move to Bandırmaspor represents another important step in his career, with the goal of helping his new club achieve its ambitions for the upcoming season.
