Director Piro Milkani honored in final farewell

Director Piro Milkani was laid to rest today. His family announced that the funeral ceremony took place at the Sharra cemetery.

Condolences will be received on May 27, 28, and 29 at "Alba 2000" funeral home on Durrës Street.

In a statement to the media, Piro’s son, Eno Milkani, said his father never lost hope of recovery.

“Piro spoke through his films for 60 years. He felt deeply fulfilled, as he experienced both directing and acting. During this time, his vital organs were weakening, but he never lost faith. He would say, ‘I will recover,’ and we would encourage each other that way,” said Enio Milkani.

The People's Artist, Piro Milkani, passed away last night at the age of 85.
