Earthquake measuring 4.1 magnitude strikes neighboring country, here's where the epicenter was

A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck shortly after midnight in Pizzone, Italy, a municipality in the province of Isernia near the borders with Abruzzo and Lazio.

The quake, which lasted several seconds, was felt throughout the area, as well as in the provinces of Chieti, L'Aquila, and Caserta.

Many residents rushed into the streets out of fear. So far, no injuries or damage have been reported.

The earthquake's epicenter was located near Pizzone at a depth of 10 kilometers.

A second tremor, measuring magnitude 2.2, was recorded in the same area at 3:41 a.m., with a depth of 9 kilometers.
