Indonesia has been struck by a strong earthquake. According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the quake registered a magnitude of 6.7 on the Richter scale.
The earthquake was centered southeast of Palu in the Central Sulawesi province and was recorded at 10:27 in the morning (local time; 06:27 GMT).
Footage circulating online shows moments of panic, with citizens rushing to leave dangerous areas.
