Elton Ilirjani threatened Shqipe Hysenaj with a defamation lawsuit after she claimed that “the biggest gossip I’ve heard from immigrants in America was that Parashqevi Simaku ended up on the streets because she would take other women’s husbands.”

Shqipe chose to respond on her Instagram, saying among other things:

“I open Instagram and see some videos from people speaking without any basis. These people cannot distinguish gossip from accusations. If gossip and the lack of freedom of speech according to protocols were illegal, we would be behind. You have no idea about tabloid sections. I am very open to a ‘virtual fight,’ but you are doomed against me.

I left it as gossip so there would be no misunderstandings. Please, whatever is said on social media, take it as I present it, not as it suits you.
