EXCLUSIVE / Iliria officials provoke, Takaj does not respond, situation remains under control

The match between the Korçë side and Iliria did not end without tension, even though throughout the 90 minutes everything on the pitch unfolded correctly. After the final whistle, an incident occurred, with the president of Skënderbeu, Ardian Takaj, at the center of attention.

The Korçë club president remained close to Ilirjan Përmeti and Ivan Gvozdenović, who was present at the match. At that moment, Iliria’s officials made several remarks toward Skënderbeu’s management, but Takaj reacted calmly and chose not to respond to the provocations.

Police forces intervened appropriately, preventing the situation from escalating and maintaining order. From the footage and preliminary reports, it appears that the tension stemmed mainly from match-day emotions and the defeat, but disciplinary limits were not exceeded.
