Final Skënderbeu–Laçi and 2 days of waiting / “Battle” in the First Division for survival!

On May 3 and 4, the final round of the “Kategoria e Parë” championship will be played, closing a season filled with rivalry, emotions, and a high level of competition.
Five matches will be played on Sunday at 15:00, while on Monday at 17:00 the concluding clash between Skënderbeu Korçë and KF Laçi will take place, where the championship trophy will also be awarded.
Both teams have already secured promotion to the Abissnet Superiore for next season, and their direct encounter will determine the First Division champion.
Meanwhile, the battle for survival remains wide open and is expected to bring excitement until the final minutes. Two particularly important matches will be played in Kukës and Fier. Kukësi will face Besa, while Apolonia will host Burreli, in games where the results are crucial for the teams’ objectives.
Apolonia Fier is currently in the penultimate position and is aiming for maximum points, hoping also for a slip-up from Kukësi to keep survival hopes alive. On the other hand, FK Kukësi cannot afford mistakes, as any negative result could directly impact their fate.
This round will also determine the second team that will play in the play-out, alongside Luftëtari Gjirokastër. The Gjirokastër side will face Pogradeci in another high-stakes match.
In other fixtures, Korabi will play Iliria, while Lushnja, currently bottom of the table, will face Kastrioti.
Ahead of this decisive week, everything remains open, promising a high-intensity season finale in the First Division.
