First in the world! Dubai opens a beach exclusively for women, with 24-hour service

Dubai has inaugurated the world’s first private beach exclusively for women, a new project offering complete privacy, all-female staff, and special night swimming programs.

The beach is located in the Al Mamzar area, in the northeast of the emirate, and has been welcoming visitors since the beginning of this month.

Local authorities state that the area is fenced to ensure maximum privacy, while strict no-photography rules and smart surveillance systems have been put in place for the safety of women who use the beach.

According to the Dubai government, the project is part of a broader program to develop public beaches, with an investment of around 700 million euros. Unlike other destinations in the United Arab Emirates that offer only dedicated women-only areas or days, the new beach in Dubai is the first to operate exclusively for women 24 hours a day.

The complex covers an area of 125,000 square meters and is entirely staffed by women, including security guards and coastguards. A dedicated area for children has also been created. Dubai Municipality expects the number of visitors to the Al Mamzar area to reach around seven million per year after the completion of the second phase of the development project.
