Armir Shahini, finalist of “Big Brother VIP,” spoke today in an interview for “Shqipëria Live” about many of the controversies during his journey inside the house and outside it. From the debate that Ilir Vrenozi claims to have had with him, to the widely discussed situation with Selin, Miri shared everything.
“I was judged from the very beginning. They saw my potential from the outside and wanted me to give them ‘something to feed on.’ My Big Brother started on day one. Only God is perfect, so I have made mistakes. Some mistakes also come from the pressure when you face identity suppression and a wave of accusations; naturally, you react in a certain way. Those are my mistakes, but since they were part of the game, I left them there, and I showed that I am a person with a big heart the real Miri.
Regarding the video of Ilir Vrenozi, many people sent it to me. I would only say this: the debate happened before the post-Big Brother recording. I was with Arbër Hajdari and Monika Kryemadhi, so ask them what happened. There was no tension at all.
The statement about Selin, ‘I see her as my daughter,’ was misunderstood. I said it because that’s how I felt. I admired her for who she is, for her courage, behavior, and intelligence, like a daughter. I liked her in a human sense. It wasn’t romantic love; I could not force love. I loved her only as a person. I did not act outside the context of friendship. I clarified it, but no one wanted to accept it.
They only wanted to attack me on that point. In that game, everything was focused on me. Even after Big Brother, “Miri is the target.” We had a very friendly and honest relationship from my side. Then Selin received information from outside; there was pressure because everyone targeted the strongest duo in the house. I am now reflecting; we don’t know how things would have gone if we hadn’t separated.
About my wife, it is true that we live separately. This is healthy for us when things are done with love and gratitude. We express our love for each other and then for others as well. It is difficult, but it becomes easier with these values.
It has been easier for me because everyone has helped me make this life simpler. We don’t live together only because my career is in Albania. We are very happy together; I live between Albania and Germany. I am available both for my family and for West Side Family,” he said.
