Hati surprises Grida Duma: You kissed me on the forehead when you were running for mayor

The social media phenomenon Hatixhe Brika was the latest guest on Grida Duma’s podcast. Surprisingly, Hati shared a childhood memory that involved the host herself.

When asked by Duma about her relationship with politics, Hati answered honestly:

“Very bad. I don’t follow politics at all.”

But right after that, she surprised Grida with an early childhood recollection:

“I remember when you were running for mayor of Durrës. You came to my neighborhood for the campaign. I was little, playing with my sister, and someone told us, ‘Come on, we’re going to meet Grida Duma.’ They sat us in the front row, you came, greeted us, and even kissed us on the forehead. That’s my memory of politics in Albania.”

Grida Duma, surprised by Hati’s vivid memory, smiled and replied with humor:

“Well, of course that’s part of political marketing tactics, naturally.”

It was a warm moment that took not only Duma but also the audience back in time, making their conversation one of the most heartfelt and genuine episodes of the podcast.
