Former “Big Brother VIP Albania 3” contestant Dea Vieri has triggered criticism on social media following a statement made on the TV show “Më prit të dielën” (“Wait for me on Sunday”).

During an interview with host Ermal Peçi, she was asked about her personal finances and her expectations for a standard of living in Albania.

When asked directly how much monthly income she would want in order to be happy, she gave a figure considered quite high for the local market and economic reality.

Dea Vieri stated that the amount that would provide her with financial peace of mind would be at least 20,000 euros per month.

During the studio conversation, she explained her reasoning, emphasizing that the figure is not directly linked to absolute happiness, but rather to covering everyday expenses and living without psychological stress.

She said: “For now, I want 20,000 euros per month. Not that I would be happy, but it would give me a kind of comfort in my mind. Pay the house, pay this, pay that… I don’t get it, I’m far from that.”
