“Icons of Albania”: More than 45 works from the Korçë Museum exhibited in France for the first time

More than 45 precious icons from the collection of the National Museum of Medieval Art in Korçë are being presented to the French public for the first time at the Museum of Fine Arts in Chambéry, as part of the exhibition “Icons of Albania.”

The exhibition showcases an important part of Albania’s cultural and artistic heritage, offering visitors the opportunity to discover the values of iconographic art preserved through the centuries. Through this initiative, not only are the treasures of Albanian culture promoted, but also the cultural dialogue between Albania and France.

This event is considered an important step in strengthening cultural cooperation between the two countries, turning art and history into bridges of communication between peoples and further promoting the richness of Albania’s national heritage on the international stage.
