Korçë comes alive with music as over 200 artists from the Balkans and Italy take part in the International Band Festival

More than 200 artists from Albania, Italy, Montenegro, Kosovo, and North Macedonia brought the musical traditions of their countries to Korçë.
The second edition of the International Band Festival aims to promote Korçë as an important destination for cultural tourism.
The Armed Forces Band performed in the city where the foundations of Albania’s first state orchestra were laid.
The Kotor Orchestra, one of the oldest in the Balkans, which participated for the first time, presented a repertoire featuring marches, classical music, and film soundtracks.
"This year we are celebrating our 184th anniversary. This is our first time in Albania. We are very pleased."
Meanwhile, the artists from Italy praised the city's hospitality.
"Congratulations to the entire city because it truly offers fantastic hospitality. You are wonderful! Thank you so much for welcoming us."
The orchestra parades and carefully selected music have created a special atmosphere in Korçë, attracting the attention of many visitors.
