Meksi makes his choice, former Skënderbeu captain close to returning to the pitch

This is a footballer with extensive experience in Albanian football, having been part of teams such as Dinamo and Kukësi, while also wearing the captain’s armband at Skënderbeu.

Meksi has long been a preferred name for coach Daja, who had also wanted to sign him several seasons ago. However, at that time, the cooperation was not finalized and the relationship between the parties did not continue as expected.

During this transfer window as well, the defender was one of the options for a return to Skënderbeu, but the Korçë side appears to have strengthened its defensive department with the new signings and did not consider it necessary to make further moves in that position.

Under these circumstances, Meksi has chosen to continue his adventure with Liqenorët, with an agreement already reached and only the official signing of the contract remaining.
